Hansika Motwani talks about her special bond with her brother

Hansika shares a great bond with her elder brother Prashanth. She speaks to DC about him and how special the festival of Raksha Bandhan is to her close knit family. “The last two days I was shooting in Chennai and now I am back in Mumbai to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with my brother Prashanth. On the day of the festival, we wake up early in the morning, cook prasadam and offer it to God. After the pooja, I tie the rakhi on his wrist. I don’t address him by his name — I call him bhaiyya, the way he prefers. He and I then go out for lunch at exotic restaurants,” she gushes.
The pretty actress says that her brother never hides anything from her. “He knows everything about me and I know everything about him. I would proudly say that he is my ‘book of secrets’. My bhaiyya is my biggest strength. He is also very protective of me.”
She quickly adds, “It’s not that we don’t fight at all(laughs!). But our anger lasts for a short while only. My brother always insists that I approve the major things in his life,” the Aranmanai star reveals. But with respect to her career, her brother has given her full freedom.
“My mother is now looking for an alliance for him. He has already said that it is me who has to see the girl, and after I give my consent only he would give his nod,” she concludes.
