Karan Johar 'nervous' to start shooting next film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'

Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar is on his way London to begin work on his next love story 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.

Karan will direct a film after a hiatus of three years. The last superhit film was 2012's 'Student Of The Year', that went on to make Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan overnight youth sensations.

The director took to his Twitter handle to make the announcement saing:

Good friend Shah Rukh Khan wished the director luck and even offered him a helping hand in the costume department. He tweeted:

'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' revolves around relationships and heartbreaks and will features Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who could have worked with Karan in films like 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' and 'Dostana' (but didn't) said that she was looking forward to featuring in the filmmaker's love story that had his signature style.

"Karan and I have hoped to work together many times and the most beautiful part about Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is that, finally, we are working together. When he narrated the idea to me, I thought it's wonderful to be telling a love story so different and above all, Karan directing that," Aishwarya said in an interview.

"It's a very beautiful love story that Karan will tell in a real way. Again, it's a lovely team to be working with - Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma," Aishwarya said.

Rumour has it that the film will also feature a special appearance by none other than Sunny Leone. According to reports the former adult star turned actress has been signed for a cameo role in the film that is scheduled to release on Diwali 2016.
