Our demands of OROP fell on deaf ears: CRPF official

New Delhi: The Central paramilitary forces have also begun to push for the One Rank One Pension demand. “We are happy for the armed forces, but the government must not neglect the yeoman service done by Central paramilitary forces,” a top paramilitary official said, adding that their demands had fallen on deaf ears.
The issue was recently flagged with the parliamentary standing committee on home two months back by the National Coordination Committee of Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Personnel Welfare Associations. The committee had also given representations to the Sixth and Seventh Pay Commissions.
