Chennai: Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Thursday ordered a solatium of Rs 10 lakh each to the kin of two BSF jawans hailing from TN, who were killed in a Naxal attack in Odisha.
Expressing deep anguish, Jayalalithaa conveyed her condolences to the families of M. Ravichandran and G.S. Abilash and said she had ordered a solatium of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of the martyrs. Ravichandran belonged to Krishnagiri district and Abilash hailed from Kanyakumari district in Tamil Nadu.
Three BSF personnel and a civilian were killed on Wednesday and six others injured when Naxalities ambushed a patrol of the military force in Odisha.
