Men were attracted to women who ordered messy foods like burgers

First dates are a lot about impressing the date without letting awkward moments rule the day. A survey conducted on over 2,000 adults revealed that during a date, a man ordering a salad is considered a “wimp”, while nine per cent of men would be attracted by a woman who orders “messy food” like burgers and ribs.
The study further went on to state that one’s food choices may also put off the date forever. Behavioural psychologist Jo Hemmings said, “It is fairly natural for us to make judgements about people who make different lifestyle choices to our own.
We’re equally likely to judge someone for eating something particularly healthy as we are for something which is more of a treat, if it’s different to what we would choose.”
