Are luxury fashion brands going through their biggest turmoil?
With China demand slowing and a weaker yuan, luxury brands face less fashionable growth
New York: Seems like turmoil is heading towards the luxury brands globally as these big players of the fashion industry are getting hit by protests and low stock prices.
Tabloid media revealed that a member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) recently protested in front a Burberry's boutique by standing on fur and covering herself with artificial blood, the Business Insider reported.
Another problem, which is making its way towards the fashion industry is the steeping stock prices of major brands across the globe.
However, sources have revealed that the market tumult that began in China and ripped through Europe and America is particularly bad for some companies and there's no question that major producers of fashion items, watches and jewellery are among them.
