Vijayendra Prasad looking to direct again

Vijayendra Prasad, who wrote the stories of Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, is still looking for a break — not as a writer, but as a director. He had earlier directed a couple of films like Sri Krishna (2006) and Rajanna but only the latter was critically acclaimed though neither film had fared well at the box-office.

The writer is now coming up with a scientific thriller that stars Neha Hinge and Rajat Krishna as the lead pair. Rajkumar Brindavan is producing this film.

“Vijayendra Prasad is the most sought-after writer in Telugu and Hindi. That’s the reason when he narrated the story to me, I accepted immediately to produce the film. It’s a scientific thriller, something totally different from what he has written till now,” says Rajkumar. He adds that popular actor Rajeev Kanakala is also playing an important character in it.
