It looks like filmmaker Bala’s much awaited flick Thara Thappattai starring Sasikumar and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has been wrapped up successfully. The film, which revolves around the lives of folk artistes, was put on hold for some time as the lead actor Sasikumar had injured himself. We heard that the team had been canning the climax in Thanjavur.
With the shoot resuming some time ago, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar tweeted, “The journey of Thara Thappattai comes to an end where it all began… Tanjore... mixed emotions… It’s been an awesome ride (sic).” The latest is that the team has wrapped up the entire shoot and they will soon be commencing post-production. Producer RK Suresh essays the baddie in the film while Ilaiyaraaja wields the baton.
