Just another working mom

“Once an actor always an actor,” she says, adding, “I have always been focused, professionally as well as in my personal life. I am not running away neither am I denying it, but I have never felt that I have been away.”

About the women centric films made during her absence, she says, “Any film is subject to the verdict of the audience. But I appreciate the fact that filmmakers are coming up with challenging subjects. It is a very exciting time to be part of the industry.”

About the Jazbaa team, she adds, “This was indeed a dream cast, and as each one came on board, it made it more special for all of us. Sanjay Gupta ensured that we had the energy to work and all of us are looking forward to working together again.”

Ash is one of the few celebs who are not on social media. She says, “I am not on any social networking site. If I want to share anything I go on Abhishekh’s account and share my greetings and well wishes with my fans and my people.”

“I never strategise my life,” she says, adding, “All I can say is that I am a committed professional and a committed mother too. I like to strike a balance between my work and my motherhood status. Life changes on a daily basis and thus we have to prioritise on work as well as on the home front. It took me six months since I said yes to Sanjay Gupta for Jazbaa. As an artist I have been raring to go and the day things start rolling that day seemed to be the right day.”
