It's ladies night on Day 2 of LFW as Dia Mirza, Shabana Azmi and Aditi Rao Hydari walk the ramp

Mumbai: Day two of the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week 2015, saw a number of ladies take to the stage in beautiful Indian inspired outfits. Stars like Dia Mirza, Shabana Azmi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Lisa Haydon, Nimrat Kaur and more put their fashion foot forward and walked the ramp for some prominent designers.
Thursday’s show was all about the intricacies with stunning embroidered ensembles being displayed on centre stage. The revival and reinvention of 'Made in India' crafts was at the forefront at event. While Lisa played show stopper for designer Swati Vijaivargie, Aditi Rao Hydari walked the ramp for designer Ritu Kumar.
The Indian Handloom and Textiles Day at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) winter-festive 2015 started with designers Swati and Sunaina, and Rinku Sobti and Shruti Sancheti, whose collections exhibited traditional textiles. This year, the interesting thing that stood out was the government's mission to focus on the concept of ‘happy weaver and happy consumer’.
Also seen were Gul Panag, Sangeeta Bijlani and Mandira Bedi among others
