Rajamouli reacts to 'false records' claims as 'Baahubali' crosses 50-days milestone

The director said he was ready to pull out the film to ‘make way for other new films to follow’
Mumbai: After shattering all box office records, S S Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ has crossed another milestone! The film has reached its 50-day mark across theatres all around the country. At a time when there have been more misses than hits in the film industry, ‘Baahubali’ has managed to sail through choppy waters and emerge victorious. However, a few haters managed to crash the director’s party by alleging that certain records stated by the team are false. To that, the director stepped forward and said in a series of tweets that neither him nor his team would ‘block theatres for false records’.
In his tweets he also said that crossing the 50-day mark was 'a thing of the past' and that he was ready to pull out the film to ‘make way for other new films to follow’.

The film that went on to make hundred of crores world wide, became a strong contender at the box office. Many films including a few from the Bollywood industry pushed back their release dates to prevent a total eclipse at the box office.
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who is known to speak his mind, also applauded Rajamouli in his tweet.
