Mohammed Akram Feroze’s bail plea accepted

Feroze was picked by the Rajasthan police near the Pakistan border
Hyderabad: A court in Jaisalmer has accepted the bail plea of Mohammed Akram Feroze, the theatre activist who was picked by the Rajasthan police near the Pakistan border.
“The bail plea has been accepted. We were asked by officials to leave as they have received all reports from the state and Central investigating agencies. We don’t have any information about further inquiry but we are told the case will be closed soon,” said his brother, Mr Alam Faraz.
The personal belongings, including his laptop and mobile have been returned to them. “We are leaving tonight for Karimnagar as per the directions of officials,” Mr Faraz said.
Feroze, 26, a theatre artiste from Jagtial, Karimnagar, was picked up by cops from Ramgarh on August 13 and was in the custody of Jaisalmer police for the past 14 days now. Akram was hitch-hiking along the border as part of his Theatre at Borders programme when he was picked up by the Rajasthan police.
