VIJAYAWADA: Countering the attack by the YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s protest at the CRDA office on Wednesday, Telugu Desam people’s representatives and leaders staged a protest opposite Gandhi statue near the corporation office and said his (Jagan) protest against the government and CM N. Chandrababu Naidu is to make himself heard in the state.
“He is just making his voice heard in the state with his yatras and influencing the people by creating falsehood on the state’s special status,” said MLC Buddha Venkanna.
“Opposition is highlighting all unnecessary issues by manipulating the farmers. All the farmers voluntarily had given their lands for capital development and construction, said minister D. Umamaheswara Rao, saying that Jagan protest in the city was just a farce.
