Two robbers held at Panjagutta, cash recovered

Hyderabad: A day after the robbery at Panjagutta, the police arrested two robbers on Wednesday and recovered the looted money from them.

The accused Rebba Santosh Kumar, 23, a car driver from Borabanda, and Kothapalli Kranthi Kumar from Borabanda, had attacked a biker on Monday night and took away Rs 14,650. The criminals threw chilli powder and beat up the victim with stones, police said.

“Both the accused were childhood friends and are addicted to bad habits. They planned a robbery and targeted M. Mallesh on Monday night. They took away his money and phone,” said police. Both were sent to judicial remand.
