It was reported earlier that Arulnithi is playing the lead in the Tamil remake of the Mollywood hit Memories, which had Prithviraj as the protagonist. The movie, that is being directed by Arivazhagan will be produced by Thenandal Films.
There were reports that a few actress were being considered to play the female lead in the film, including Mia George who acted in the original version. One among them was Monal Gajjar who was last seen in Vanavarayan Vallavarayan. The actress confirmed that she was approached for the role and that she has given the nod to playing the part.
She says, “I have agreed to be a part of the film. I will be participating in the photo shoot for the same on September 25 after which the movie will start shooting.” Interestingly, there were two actresses in the Malayalam version, and it remains to be seen which actress will be roped in to play the other character. Nikki Galrani was another actress who was approached, but the actress has not signed on the dotted lines.
