Shankar approached B’town star Aamir Khan for a role with grey shades

We earlier reported that filmmaker Shankar and Rajinikanth met few months ago in Mumbai and were gearing up to make a sequel of their blockbuster Endhiran. Initially, it was said that Shankar approached B’town star Aamir Khan for a role with grey shades, who reportedly turned down the offer.
Now, the latest buzz is that Katrina Kaif will be sharing screen space with Rajinikanth in Endhiran 2. We hear that Shankar had initial round of talks with the actress and if all goes well, she would signthe dotted line. One may recall that Kat was the first choice for Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan, but, when she declined the offer, Deepika replaced her.
Rajini at present is all set to start his new venture Kabali, a gangster movie set in Malaysia, that is being directed by Ranjith. The movie is likely to get wrapped up by early next year. After Kabali, the actor will move on to the big budget flick Endhiran 2.
