In previous interviews, the designer expressed his excitement to display his collection. "The collection for Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive is for the debonair man - it's stylish, cool and contemporary," he said.
And who better than his good friend Ranbir Kapoor, to play his show stopper.
This show also marked the designer's first clothing range for men.
Manish Malhotra has made his mark in both the fashion world and Bollywood, by styling and designing costumes for some of the biggest names in the business. 
However, this year the focus was on the designer more than the actor as Manish marked his 25th year in the industry.
The actor walked the ramp in a red velvet suit, that was a part of Manish's 'Gentlemen’s Club Collection'.
Ranbir who played showstopper for the designer, became the first celebrity to walk the ramp this year, and will certainly not be the last.
