Katti Batti director Nikhil Advani is all set to acknowledge Aamir Khan as a creative consultant on his film. The film marks the return of Aamir’s nephew Imran Khan after three flops and a two-year paternity leave.
Nikhil reveals that Aamir has not only provided invaluable inputs towards bettering the film, but has also rewritten the film’s climax. Nikhil says, “Aamir has gone all out to ensure it turns out to be a special film. Katti Batti would not be the film that it is without Aamir’s contribution. After I signed Imran for the film, I narrated the script to Aamir. He immediately suggested some changes that I incorporated.”
But the most substantial input was yet to come. “The last 22 minutes of Katti Batti are completely Aamir’s. He owns the climax of the plot, and I won’t hesitate to acknowledge his contribution in any manner he wants,” adds Nikhil.
