MP Murali Mohan seeks Pawan Kalyan’s support for land acquisition
Mohan sought his support for land acquisition for the construction of capital city
Rajahmundry: Welcoming the views of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on land acquisition, MP M. Murali Mohan sought his support for land acquisition for the construction of capital city.
Speaking to newsmen here on Tuesday, he said that he was seeking the support of every stakeholder for acquiring land for capital construction. Stating that the land pooling scheme (LPS) yielded good results, he opined that the farmers would be benefited a lot.
He said that he submitted a representation to the Union petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan to shift the ONGC head office to Rajahmundry from Chennai as the public sector oil major was carrying out its operations in Krishna- Godavari basin covering both the Godavari and Krishna districts. He also said that the horticulture research centre would be set up in the city shortly.
