As you walk into the IIIT-H campus, one kiosk catches your attention. Not just because of its catchy name — Wich Please — but also because of the number of students there.
From the chocolate grilled wich or the Nutella sandwich to the cheese chutney sandwich, you can never have enough of these. The outlet is owned by IIIT-H graduates Rahul Sachdev, Pravin Gadodia, Saurabh Jain and Siddarth Jain who were invited by the college authorities to open a kiosk in the campus. However, it all started long before. From having a single kiosk in Gachibowli in 2013 to having five outlets in the area today, Wich Please has come a long way. Rahul says, “Two of my partners are from Indore. They would miss the sandwiches, spicy chaats etc. from their hometown. Initially we had planned for poha and many more things, but we decided to start with sandwiches. This gave people an alternative to the usual fried stuff they eat.”
