Watch: Akshay Kumar's stunt in 'Tung Tung Baje' goes horribly wrong
Mumbai: Bollywood's Khiladi Akshay Kumar learnt not to play with fire the hard way. The actor landed himself in trouble on the sets of his action flick 'Singh Is Bling' while shooting for the song ‘Tung Tung Baje’.
The actor, who insists on performing his own stuns landed up injuring himself while shooting his introductory song. We hear that while shooting for a stunt scene, he had to jump through a ring of fire. But while doing so, his leg got stuck in the flaming loop and caught fire.
A source close from the production team said, "Whenever it comes to doing stunts; he always prefers doing it himself and not using a body double. So while jumping from the fired Hula hoop, Akshay sir’s leg caught fire.”
On seeing the star's leg ablaze, the team's safety team who was on standby, rushed to the actor and extinguished the fire.
“Immediate actions were taken to put the fire off. Even after the accident, Akshay sir was adamant to perform the stunt again,” added the source.
