Mumbai: It was just yesterday there was news that Punjabi singer Jasbir Jassi confirmed to have met Indian rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh in a rehabilitation center in Chandigarh. However, in an interesting turn of events, Jasbir slammed the reports and cleared the air on Facebook.
He wrote, “Hello. I am referring here to the Hindustan Times article. According to this article I met Honey Singh in a rehab. I need to clarify here that I NEVER MET HONEY SINGH IN REHAB. Further to this I also want to add that I have nothing personal against him, infact I admire his music and am fan of his beats. Only issue I ever had was with some of his songs with obscene lyrics and glorifying alcohol/drugs.”

Yo Yo Honey Singh has been away from limelight for quite some time now. Earlier this year, there were several reports that the rapper is battling ill health and has checked into a rehab in Chandigarh for drug abuse. Honey’s wife, Shalini Talwar rubbished the stories and said that he is genuinely not well and he is in a recovery mode. He has never been a drug addict but he is not fit to make a public appearance.
