HuJI aide held in Delhi by SIT

Hyderabad: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has arrested Sheik Noor, who was instrumental in bringing the arrested HuJI helper Abdul Nasir to India from Bangladesh.
Noor was hiding in Delhi after escaping from the city in June. However, the Delhi police arrested him from Okhla and handed him over to the Hyderabad police. The CCS police also arrested his associate and an illegal immigrant from Myanmar, Hashim alias Shaik Ameer, 42, after raiding the Lingampally Railway Station, CCS officials said.
After the Delhi police arrested Noor the SIT team filed a petition in a court at New Delhi and obtained transit warrant for his production in Nampally court, said Dr T. Prabhakar Rao, joint CP of CCS.
Noor, who had lived in Zaheerabad in Medak district for several years had helped several immigrants to cross into India illegally. According to an investigation official, Noor had married three times. “He has a wife in Zaheerabad, one in Pakistan and one in Bangladesh. He keeps travelling between India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.”
