The popular peppy song Daddy Mummy from the Vijay-starrer Villu directed by Prabhu Deva is now being used in a Bollywood film titled Bhaag Johnny. Interestingly, Daddy Mummy itself was a re-hash of the popular Telugu number Aakkalesthe Annam Pedatha from the Chiranjeevi-starrer Shankar Dada Zindabad.

Both the songs were composed by Devi Sri Prasad and had Mollywood actress Mamta Mohandas crooning them. Now, DSP has gone a step ahead and lent his voice too for the Hindi version which has Kunal Khemu playing the lead. Earlier, DSP’s other Telugu number Ringa Ringa from Arya 2 was used in Salman Khan’s Ready.

Bhaag Johnny has Mithoon, Ankit Tiwari and Yo Yo Honey Singh composing other songs. The film is slated for a theatrical release in September.
