Vikram Prabhu’s next titled Veera Sivaji?

In her second innings child-artiste-turned-heroine Shamlee tried her luck with a Telugu movie Oye with Siddharth, which was an average grosser. This younger sister of Shalini Ajith is back after a hiatus and now offers are pouring in for the young lady, as there’s a dearth for homely girls in K'town.

Recently, it was reported that Shamlee was approached for a Vishal movie which is a sequel to his earlier hit Sandakozhi. We now hear that the actress is being roped in for a Vikram Prabhu film which is being directed by Ganesh of Thagararu fame. When producer Nandhagopal of Madras Enterprises was contacted, he agreed that talks are on with Shamlee, but she is yet to be brought on board. “Yes, Shamlee has been approached since the director felt that she will fit into the female lead role. It is an action comedy with a social message,” he said.

The buzz is that the movie has an intriguing title which also relates to Vikram Prabhu’s famed family. “True! We are pondering over the title ‘Veera Sivaji’ since the character name of the hero is Veera in the film.” ‘Veera Sivaji’ means ‘Valorous Sivaji’. When asked if that won’t mislead the audiences into thinking it is a historical film, he answers “That’s why I am saying it is under consideration only. The creative team is discussing various combos and I am confident they will arrive at a catchy and emphatic title.”
