It never felt like I was absent: Aishwarya on her comeback with 'Jazbaa'
Mumbai: ‘Jazbaa’ marks the comeback of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’ but for her, she never felt like 'being absent'.
At the trailer launch of 'Jazbaa', Aishwarya said, “It never felt like I was absent. Being a working mother, I really didn't delve into the absent matter." She went on to add, "The references made to butterflies and nervousness, I get very gob smacked about what answer to give. I don’t know whether saying ‘Of course I get nervous’ will humanize me or saying that no, we have made the baby and the baby is there out to live. It's life and it's like let the birds fly.”
Talking about why she agreed to a part of the film, the actress said that the subject is very relevant and it was an easy yes to the project. Aishwarya said, "Everyday at work is challenging, difficult is not the word, we look to the challenge that excites us."
The story revolves around a mother, who goes to extremes to save the life of her daughter ‘Sanaya’. Aishwarya who will essaying the role of a lawyer spoke about prepping up for the role, "I am playing a lawyer for the first time and I did require certain degree of educating myself."
From the looks of the trailer, 'Jazbaa' seems to be a promising film that will receive thunderous response at the box office with their action sequences and edge of the seat thrill.
