WhatsApp has been in the news for quite some time now. The social messaging app wants to make sure that its users don’t face any compatibility issues with regards to BlackBerry, Android, iOS and Windows Phone platforms.
In a personal e-mail to WMPU, WhatsApp revealed that it is planning to release Windows 10 Mobile-compatible version soon. This sends out a hint that WhatsApp is working on developing a new version for the Windows 10 Mobile platform. One of the reasons could be that WhatsApp doesn’t want to lose out on its users who wish to own Windows 10 Phones.
Instant message popups: The Facbook-like feature is available for Android WhatsApp users. Media reports state that WhatsApp Windows 10 Mobile –compatible version may come up with similar notification popup. You don’t need to open the app for each and every every WhatsApp chat message.
TechnoReact also reported that WhatsApp will also add new Adaptive Live Tile templates. It’s quite obvious that WhatsApp will first release a beta file for 'WhatsApp Beta Program' members to test the smooth functionality of the upcoming version. There’s no official announcement from WhatsApp yet.
However, Windows 10 Mobile is expected to launch by October-end. Media reports speculate that the new WhatsApp version may also be released by the end of 2015.
