Hyderabad: The south zone police made rebellious teenagers take an oath that they would obey their parents and will not wander on the street late at night. Many youths were caught by cops in the old city for roaming on the roads on bikes on Saturday night.
Police officials said that they caught 94 youths who were wandering past midnight. Six youths were caught for drinking in public and one teenager was booked for driving without a licence. A team of cops conducted checks in Talabkatta and Chandrayangutta to catch youngsters.
“All the youths were taken to a public place for counselling. Their parents were also called to warn them about the behaviour of their sons. The youths were let off after they took an oath that they will not disobey their parents and the police and will not come out on the roads at night,” said additional DCP K. Babu Rao.
