Hyderabad: A sub-inspector who allegedly misbehaved with a tribal woman was suspended in Nalgonda. The SP issued orders suspending Kondal Reddy, the SI of Gudipally police station. Kondal Reddy is working at the Gudipally police station in Nalgonda district.
A few days ago, a tribal woman from Tirumalagiri tanda under Waddera Gudem village approached the police station seeking help in a land dispute.
Mr Kondal Reddy took the complaint. He later called her to the police station on the pretext of questioning, attacked her and asked her to withdraw the complaint. Home guard Naveen Reddy assisted him.
“Based on the inquiry the SP issued suspension orders on Saturday against Kondal Reddy. Naveen Reddy has been attached to district headquarters for further inquiry,” said inspector K. Venkataiah.
