Mumbai: ‘Welcome Back’ featuring John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, Shruti Haasan, Dimple Kapadia and Naseeruddin Shah is all set to have a world premiere in Dubai.
The red carpet premiere will be hosted by Dubai Tourism and will bring back the actors, director Anees Bazmee and producer Firoz Nadiadwala, back to the city where a substantial part of the film was filmed last year. Musicians Meet Brothers and Mika Singh will be traveling with the team.
According to reports, the next day fans will get a chance to meet their favourite stars at “major fan event” on September 3, details of which are still under wraps.
Several films like 'Happy New Year' and 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' have been shot in Dubai. Apparently, 90 percent of 'Welcome Back' has been shot in the emirate — included a number of hotels like Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Waldorf Astoria, Meydan, Sofitel - The Palm, Grand Hyatt Hotel the Palace Hotel and the Rixos, as well as the Burj Khalifa.
