Dr Cudlip will lead a session on ‘Pituitary Masterclass’ on pituitary tumour

ALAPPUZHA: Dr Simon Cudlip, consultant neurosurgeon, Oxford, will share his experiences at the Brain Centre of KVM hospital Cherthala here as part of its 4th Continuing Medical Education (CME) on August 25.
Dr Cudlip, who is one of the finest surgeons in the UK who has specialized in Pituitary surgery, will lead a session on ‘Pituitary Masterclass’ on pituitary tumour.
According to Dr Avinash Haridas, founder and director of the Brain Centre, Dr Cudlip, a practitioner of the latest Minimally invasive endoscopic technique, would help develop these techniques at the hospital which would go a long way not only for Indo-British relationships but would also in giving succor to many of the patients ,who are currently depending on Sree Chitra (Thiruvananthapuram) and CMC Vellore in Tamil Nadu.
“His commitment to the hospital will enable all the patients in South India to avail the world class neurosurgery treatment. As part of this new initiative, the Brain Centre will start weekly free pituitary clinics”, he said.
