The magnum opus Baahubali released more than a month ago and was declared a blockbuster across the country, even becoming one of the few flicks to be appreciated by the nation’s Prime Minister. Currently the biggest grosser in the south, there have been several videos and short films being made now, going viral on social media, which are cashing in on the film’s popularity.
The movie had a dream run in Kollywood too and is on the verge of completing 50 days in more than 50 screens in TN. Now, the Tamil film Desingu Raja, released in 2013, is being dubbed into Telugu with the title Bhallala Deva. Interestingly, it is the name of the character played by Rana in Baahubali! Desingu Raja, which starred Vemal and Bindu Madhavi was a failure at the box office then, and it has to be seen whether its dubbed version can attract audiences to theatres with the catchy title.
