Priyanka Chopra writes heartfelt message on her dad's birthday

Like most women, Priyanka Chopra has always been a 'daddy's girl'. On the occassion of her father, Dr Ashok Chopra's birthday, the actress shared a collage of childhood pictures and wrote a heartfelt message, "Happy birthday papa. Want to wake u up at mid night by jumping on the bed n scaring u with cake n whistles.. Miss u"

Priyanka's father was suffering from cancer since 2008. When he was first diagnosed with cancer, the family was shattered. She used to break down if one ever broached the subject of her father's health. But she took it upon herself to give her dad the best treatment she could. Whether it was flying him overseas or getting the best medical help for him in India, Priyanka unquestionably did her best.
