Two Jet Airways pilots sacked for negligence
The plane flying from Doha had 142 passengers on board
New Delhi: Aviation regulator DGCA on Friday suspended two Jet Airways pilots for landing a flight on August 18 at Thiruvanathapuram with near-empty fuel tanks, which is a “serious’ offence, according to DGCA. The plane flying from Doha had 142 passengers on board and eight crew members. A probe has been ordered as to why the pilot had declared a fuel emergency.
