Music director S.S. Thaman was all praise for Spoorthy at the music success meet of Kick 2 recently. The 14-year-old girl, studying in Class X, sang a special song in the film. In 2013, she sang for the Yama Ho Hama, which was directed by her father Jitender. “We knew director Surender Reddy and he recommended my name to Thaman sir. He liked my voice and gave this opportunity,” says Spoorthy.
“I want to go to Trinity College in London to learn music for further grades,” reveals Spoorthy. She’s also learning Western vocals. Shreya Ghoshal and Miley Cyrus are her inspirations, she adds.
