Films are my dream: Ashra Muhammed
A real life friendship with Asif Ali paved the way for a reel life friendship for Ashra Muhammed when he played the role of Asif Ali’s friend in his debut film Asuravithu. It was another friendship that paved the way for a role in the recent release KL10 .
Ashra says, “The director of the film Muhsin Perari is a friend and I have sat with him through the film discussions. When he asked me to play a part in his debut film, I jumped in! I play Unni Mukundan’s cousin and I am so glad to be a part of a big banner film.”
Apart from films, Ashra has also worked in ads and short films. He was also a part of a Tamil film that did not get completed.
The Visual Communication student has also worked in channels and as an Associate Director and has a Kochi-based Construction company and mentions that he took a break after Asuravithu to finish his higher studies. “Films are my dream,” he concludes.
