Developers at WhatsApp have been updating its software every week. In the recent past, WhatsApp for Windows Phone have received several updates for its multimedia files and several other bug fixes. After introducing the WhatsApp Web iPhone version, latest reports state that the social messaging platform has introduced seven features on Windows Phones.
Now available on Windows Phone store, WhatsApp’s new 2.12.112.0 version will allow Windows Phone users to mark read messages as ‘unread’. Interestingly, Windows Phone users can now select multiple messages and delete it in one go! On receiving a new business card on WhatsApp, Windows Phone is now capable of saving it in the contact list. Windows Phone users will also be able to enable and disable sound/vibrate functionality for in-app notifications.
The ‘Low Data usage’ tab has been added to the Windows Phone version of WhatsaApp, as reported by Windows Central. Just check the low data option by clicking on Settings and the Chats and Calls tab. You can also set customised ringtones for each chat, on your Windows Phone handset.
