Bengaluru: Cubbon Park cops gear up for PM’s video conference
BENGALURU: The Cubbon Park police are gearing up for the big moment as Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with them through video conferencing on August 26. The police are making all arrangements to ensure that there are no technical glitches during the session.
The Ministry of Home Affairs had selected three police stations from across the country to review how these police stations have adopted technology for smart policing. Apart from the Cubbon Park police station, the other two stations chosen for this exercise are in Assam and Uttar Pradesh.
Chief Secretary Kaushik Mukherjee and DG & IGP Om Prakash will interact with the Prime Minister during the video conferencing from VV Tower, while DCP (Central) Sandeep Patil and inspector of Cubbon Park police station C Balakrishna will interact with him from the Cubbon Park police station. The programme will be held under the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems .
