Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Puli trailer, which was unveiled amidst huge expectations on Wednesday midnight, has created quite a ripple on social media. In less than 24 hours of its release the trailer has one million views on YouTube.
The fantasy action entertainer directed by Chimbu Devan has Vijay donning various looks, and marks the return of Bollywood diva Sridevi to Tamil cinema after 27 years. We get a glimpse of Sridevi who plays an evil queen and Sudeep who appears as a commander.
While Shruti Haasan is seen as a normal girl, Hansika dons a princess’ attire. Vijay’s diehard fans have created the hashtag #MajesticPulitrailer which is trending in cyberspace. Congratulatory messages are pouring in from many celebrities for the trailer including Sonam Kapoor for Ilayathalapathy, says its producer PT Selvakumar.
