Presently, OnePlus 2 is the first and the only smartphone to sport a USB Type-C port. Other smartphone makers are yet to feature it, and it may not happen in the immediate future.
Although one can only think of all the benefits of the Type-C connector, there is one problem a OnePlus 2 user may have to face. Similar to the problem Apple users face, OnePlus 2 users may find it difficult to charge their smartphones in case they lose or forget their charging chords.
However, unlike Apple, OnePlus has served the solution in a platter for their users. OnePlus rolled out a USB Type-C adapter for OnePlus 2 users. The adapter allows a user to charge their smartphone with a standard micro-USB cable.
The adapter is available on the e-commerce website Amazon for the price of Rs 699.
