Gold chain removed from thief’s bowel in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Doctors at Gandhi Hospital successfully removed a 40g stolen gold chain from the stomach of a thief who had swallowed it when police caught him on Saturday. Doctors and cops waited for five days to recover the chain. The accused, Vikas, was administered with laxatives to recover the chain naturally but in vain. Doctors performed a surgery on Vikas and extracted the chain.
