Vattikuti Vamsi Chandra has titled his new tele-serial Samudram and in a press release confirmed that the serial is on the life of actor Jagapathi Babu, who has gone through many ups and downs in his life.
“Jagapathi Babu has reached the top and has also faced rough times in his career… he has always come back stronger.” says Vamsi Chandra. Jagapathi Babu had made his debut as a lead actor but struggled initially in his career. Son of popular director and producer, V.B. Rajendra Prasad, Jagapathi is now a sought-after character artiste in Tollywood and is currently in the UK shooting for an untitled film that stars Jr NTR.
But in the initial stages of his career, many criticised his voice, but later, his voice became a big plus point for him. “Jagapathi Babu is going to reveal many incidents that happened in his career and life in the serial,” says the director.
