T C Venkat Subramanian has been appointed for a period of three years
Chennai: State-run Indian Bank on August 20 said the Centre has appointed T C Venkat Subramanian as part time Non-official Director as well as the Non-Executive Chairman in the bank for a period of three years.
"... the central government, after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India vide notification August 14, 2015 has appointed T C Venkat Subramanian as Part Time Non-Official Director as well as Non-Executive Chairman in Indian Bank for a period of three years from date of notification or until his attaining the age of 70 years or until further orders..", the bank said in a statement. Indian Bank shares ended 4.47 per cent down at Rs 142 apiece on the BSE.
