According to a report in ‘The Indian Express’, the Bollywood actress said: “Some players from Kings XI Punjab may have indulged in suspicious activities linked to throwing matches, and the Indian board’s anti-corruption team has not been able to effectively tackle the menace,” she was quoted as saying to a BCCI official.
The theory being that "Prevention is better than cure." Of course @IndianExpress @abpnewshindi @abpnewstv had 2 twist & change the story 1/2

She said her team’s match results followed a pre-decided pattern. She told the meeting (that the BCCI Working Group had called to discuss the future of India’s cash-rich league) on August 8 that she had been observing such suspicious activities in the team but couldn't lodge formal complaint in the absence of proofs.
A constructive conversation to genuinely make a difference to the game is turned into a destructive article for sensational purpose. 1/3

The Working Group had met to discuss IPL 9 in the wake of suspension of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. All the stakeholders of the IPL and four members of the working group— IPL governing council chairman Rajeev Shukla, BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur, BCCI treasurer Anirudh Chaudhary and former India captain Sourav Ganguly were present in the meeting.
The report also goes on to say Zinta said people predicted the outcome of the game that turned out spot on after the match. She told officials that she confronted many players on the issue and even dropped the players. She put them on auction and told their activities to other franchises.

Zinta was utterly taken aback with the news that broke on Wednesday morning and expressed her frustration on her Facebook page where she said, ‘Very proud to be part of KXIP. We have the best team and support staff and under no circumstance will I tolerate slander towards me or my team, especially when it comes to our integrity.’
