Congressmen from Tumakuru are camping in Bengaluru for the past one week to seek votes

TUMAKURU: With the BBMP elections turning out to be a tough battle for the Congress and BJP, Congress leaders especially followers of KPCC president Dr G Parameshwar, who is from Tumakuru, are camping in Bengaluru for the past one week to seek votes.
Tumakuru DCC president Shafi Ahmed said they were assigned to various places in BBMP to take up the campaign. He said he had been campaigning in Ward 87 for four days. “With CM Siddaramaiah and Dr Parameshwar taking responsibility for the BBMP poll campaign, there is no doubt we will win”, claimed Mr Ahmed.
Tumakuru MLA Rafeek Ahmed campaigned in Basavanagudi area in Bengaluru on Monday. He has been visiting Bengaluru regularly for a week to campaign for Congress candidates.
