Alia Bhatt to star opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Gauri Shinde's film
Gauri Shinde, who made a splash with her debut film 'English Vinglish', didn't sign a single film for a long time after that. She set many tongues wagging when it was announced that she will be directing her next under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and the film will feature Alia Bhatt. The details were fiercely guarded but now Karan has made an official announcement. Alia will be cast opposite Shah Rukh Khan! Yes you heard that right!

KJo is instrumental in making career choices for Alia ever since the two worked on 'Student Of The Year'. There were reports that there will be three newcomers opposite Alia in the film as is the nature of the script, but no announcement has been made about the same.
