Pakistan firing along LoC resumes
Officials in Jammu and Poonch said that the Pakistani troops started firing at 10 pm on Sunday
Srinagar: After a brief lull, Pakistani troops again targeted Indian forwards posts and civilian areas along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district with small arms, heavy machine gun (HMG) and mortar bombs overnight.
Officials in Jammu and Poonch said on Monday that the Pakistani troops started firing at 10 pm on Sunday and continued it till 1 am on Monday.
“Apart from firing 120 mm and 82 mortars, they also used HMG to target Indian positions in Saujivan sector of Poonch and Mandi area of Mendhar tehsil,” police said.
