MLA Kaliayarasu who came to know about the pathetic condition of the boy offered Rs 10, 000 to settle his hostel dues

Vellore: The Anaikattu constituency MLA Kalaiyarasu on Monday donated Rs 10,000 to a second year student of Government Medical college here as the student was not allowed to write his first-year examination for not settling his first year hostel fees, said sources.
Dinesh Kumar (22), son of Theerthamalai and a native of Uthangarai village in Krishnagiri district who has been a medical student of the college, could not pay the hostel fees to continue his second year MBBS in the college.
The MLA Kaliayarasu who came to know about the pathetic condition of the boy offered Rs 10, 000 to settle his hostel dues. He also said, he was prepared to help out the boy whenever he approached him.
He called on Dinesh on Monday and gave the amount to him. Former MLA Paranthaman, a member of Adi Dravidar Welfare Association Soundarapandiyan and other officials of the hospital were present on the occasion.
