7 SV university students suspended for ragging

SV University evicted them from the varsity hostel
Tirupati: Authorities of the SV University on Monday suspended MCA II students and evicted them from the varsity hostel for being involved in ragging. A police complaint was also lodged.
The action was taken based on evidence the officials were able to collect from the other students staying in the hostel. The seven students, identified as Y. Narendra, K. Sivakesava Naidu, M. Bhanuprakash Reddy, A. Mahesh, S. Rufus, Ravi Chandra and M Malyadri were suspended after their involvement in the ragging incident that took place in the hostel on Saturday night. Following the complaint, the registrar constituted a seven-member committee, comprising HoDs and other faculty.
