Mumbai: The trailer of Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Calender Girls’ is out and one cannot deny the fact that the director is getting bigger and better with each film. The movie touches upon the lives of five girls who enter the world of glamour, success, money and power.

The film revolves around young women who hail from different regions- Paromita Ghosh from Kolkata, Nazneen Malik from Lahore, Nandita Menon from Hyderabad, Sharon Pinto from Goa and Mayuri Chauhan from Rohtak who went on to become the five faces of fashion – they become the Calendar Girls.

Though they do taste success they are slowly sucked into the web of lies, seduction, despair and loss. The film is produced by Sangeeta Ahir and Bhandarkar Entertainment and is slated to release on September 25.
